As a practice full of parents ourselves, we understand firsthand the ups and downs of raising kids. We are constantly learning—whether from the latest research or from our own experiences with our children and clients—what truly helps kids succeed. We don’t believe in pathologizing every challenge that arises during childhood or adolescence. The ups and downs of growth are a normal part of development, and we recognize that not every struggle requires a label or diagnosis. Instead, we focus on understanding each child’s unique needs and providing support that fosters their natural growth. Our goal is to help parents and kids approach these challenges with confidence, using practical tools and insights to successfully navigate the difficulties and grow stronger as a family.

  • Play Therapy: For younger children, play is a natural and effective way to express thoughts and feelings. Through Play Therapy, we help kids process emotions and develop healthier coping mechanisms in an environment that feels safe and engaging.
  • WISDOM™ Coaching: Using storytelling, games, and activities, WISDOM™ Coaching helps children and adolescents develop emotional intelligence, resilience, and a positive mindset. This coaching focuses on building self-esteem and empowering kids to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): An evidence-based approach, CBT helps kids and teens understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. We use CBT to help young clients manage anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills: We integrate DBT skills to help children and teens regulate emotions, improve distress tolerance, and build better relationships with others. These skills are especially effective for kids struggling with intense emotions or impulsive behaviors.
  • Grief Counseling: Grief comes in many forms, from the loss of a family member or friend to the impact of major life changes like divorce, moving, or changing schools. We provide compassionate support to help kids and teens process all types of loss, guiding them through the emotional challenges of grief while fostering healing and growth.
  • Navigating Big Changes: Life changes, whether it’s adjusting to new family dynamics, a major move, or shifting social circles, can bring a mix of excitement and stress for kids and teens.
