Rachel has lived in Texas most of her life except for a couple of years during her childhood when she lived in West Africa. That experience started her on the path to be the Social Worker she is today. Her passion for community and desire to help people has blossomed from those experiences.

Rachel received her Undergraduate Degree from Texas State University and received her Master’s Degree from The University of Houston (Go Coogs!) She received her Social Work License in 2011 and has been working with children and families for 14+ years in various capacities. Rachel is currently studying towards her Doctorate as a Natural Health Practitioner.

As a counselor, Rachel strives to create a safe environment where her clients can learn and recognize their own strengths and to feel empowered to best handle the challenges they are currently facing. Rachel enjoys working with a wide variety of clients including, children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults.

Rachel uses an integrative approach to counseling to meet the client’s needs that centers on Nutrition, Play Therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, and Mindfulness-Based Approaches.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, Rachel offers Food Sensitivity Testing, Nutrigenomics Genetic Testing, and Fatty Acid Panel testing. These tests allow another pathway into a whole body understanding of of mental and physical health, and offer a transformative window into change.

Outside of being a Licensed Social Worker, she is a wife and a mother to 2 children. She enjoys creating a healthy lifestyle inside and out for herself and those around her. She hopes to have the chance to work alongside you and your family.
