Katie Escobar, LCSW
Counselor

Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with ten years of experience in mental health. A native of Louisiana, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University. She also has extensive experience in the public education system.

Katie believes that healing begins with connection. She creates a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, respected, and heard. She works collaboratively with clients to clarify their goals and identify the strengths they possess to work toward the changes they desire.

Katie specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and stage-of-life transitions. She works with adolescents and adults and has a particular interest in working with older adults.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, and reading.
